Your privacy

Short version: you don’t need an account, there are no ads or tracking, and we only keep what you choose to send us.

Last updated October 29, 2026

What you send us

When you use one of our forms (feedback, “Update this listing” or “List your market”), we receive your name, email address, message and anything else you fill in, plus the page you sent it from. We use it only to read your note, reply if needed, and update listings. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

We keep these messages as long as we need them to look after the listing they’re about. To have yours deleted, send us a note through the feedback form.

What stays in your browser

  • Saved markets are stored in your own browser, on your device. They’re never sent to us.
  • “Use my location” asks your browser for permission first. Your location is used on your device to sort markets by distance; it isn’t sent to or stored by us.

Searches and maps

  • Searching a city or ZIP code sends what you typed to our server, which looks it up with OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service. Nominatim sees our server’s request, not you.
  • Map images are loaded by your browser directly from OpenStreetMap’s servers, so OpenStreetMap receives your IP address, as any website you load does. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
  • Fonts and everything else on the site are served by Traders Trove itself.

Cookies and analytics

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for the site’s administrators. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and the page requested) to keep the site secure and running.

Business listings

Market and vendor pages show business information those markets and vendors publish themselves. If a listing includes something you’d like changed or removed, use “Update this listing” or the feedback form.

Children and changes

Traders Trove isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
