About our data
Where our information comes from
Traders Trove gathers Colorado farmers markets and the vendors who sell at them into one place, so you can see what to expect before you go.
Sources
Market details (location, days and hours, season, parking and links) come from each market’s own website. Vendor lists come from the vendor pages markets publish for their shoppers.
Vendor profiles add what vendors share on their own websites: a short description, a photo or logo, and links to their website, online shop and social pages. Every listing links back to the market or vendor it came from.
How we verify listings
- Every listing is reviewed by a person before it’s published. New markets and new vendor listings wait in a review queue; nothing goes live straight from a website.
- Each page shows when it was last updated, next to “Reviewed by Traders Trove”. When we check a market’s website again, we update what changed.
- We don’t confirm details with market managers yet. Hours and lineups can change at short notice, so check the market’s own website before a long trip.
- “Confirmed” and “Expected” market days. A vendor’s day is Confirmed when the market posted them in that day’s lineup. It’s Expected when they’re on the market’s list for the season and the market is open that day.
- Categories are ours. Markets group vendors under their own headings; we sort them into one consistent set (Produce, Flowers & Plants; Baked Goods; and so on) so you can compare markets.
Keeping it accurate
If something is out of date, we want to know.
- Vendors: use “Update this listing” on your vendor page to send changes, or to ask us to remove your listing or photo.
- Markets: use “List your market” to add yours, or send us a note about an existing one.
- Everyone else: spotted a mistake? Tell us and we’ll fix it.
Names and photos
Business names, logos and photos belong to the markets and vendors they show. We display them to help people find and support local businesses. Any owner can ask us to change or remove them.
